  • Fruity and sweet taste

  • Only four components
  • Two minutes to prepare
  • Naturally free of sugar, gluten, and dairy
  • Rich in minerals and vitamins

A powdered keto sweetener is essential for a truly creamy and sweet  keto diet smoothies without causing a surge in blood sugar. I use the same Besti Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend for my Keto ACV gummies in this recipe.

Every sip is smoothly dissolved by it; no one likes their drink to be gritty! Erythritol is used as a bulking agent in most other sugar replacements, such as stevia and most monk fruit products, however it does not dissolve well. Besti is also ideal for a drink that tastes like it was straight out of the  keto diet smoothies store because it tastes like sugar and has zero grams of net carbohydrates.

Variations & Ingredients of  Keto Strawberry Smoothie

Here, I go over the ideal components for an avocado-based  keto diet smoothies, their respective roles in the dish, and possible substitutions. Refer to the keto strawberry smoothie recipe card below for measurements.

Essential Components

1:Avocado:

This Keto Strawberry Smoothie almost feels more like a dessert than a keto fruit smoothie since it adds the ideal creamy texture. Frozen avocado is another option! In case you were wondering, the avocado is only there for texture and nutrients; you won’t taste it!

2:Milk:

For that extra-delicious creamy flavor and texture in keto diet smoothies,So each Keto Strawberry Smoothie calls for liquid, preferably some sort of milk. You may either prepare your own homemade almond milk or use a sugar-free store-bought brand to make your strawberry avocado smoothie.

Another excellent option is almond milk with vanilla. For a creamier, richer version of  Keto Strawberry Smoothie, you can replace half of the almond milk with heavy cream if you’re not paleo or dairy-free. Use coconut milk or hemp milk if you require a nut-free substitute or if you follow a paleo or dairy-free diet.

3:Berries:

Add these to your avocado almond milk smoothie for sweetness and taste. If you only have fresh berries, that’s okay too; however, frozen berries help make the Keto Strawberry Smoothie thicker and cooler. One of the fruits with the fewest carbohydrates on your list of low-carb foods is strawberries. Because they are sweeter than other berries, you can use less sweetener when using them in a Keto Strawberry Smoothie. If you’d prefer something tarter, have a strawberry sensitivity, or just want to switch up your raw avocado smoothie recipe, you may also use blueberries or raspberries.

For a smooth texture of  keto diet smoothies, I like to use Powdered Monk Fruit Allulose Blend as a sweetener. It doesn’t become gritty, tastes sweet, and combines easily.

You will need to prepare a sugar-free simple syrup if you use a sweetener other than Besti, and even then there’s a chance it won’t dissolve all the way through. Besti is my go-to option because it dissolves easily and has no aftertaste.Lastly, depending on how sweet your strawberries are and if you don’t want it overly sweet, you could even completely eliminate the sweetener.

Additional Potential Additions:

Creamier textures are produced by yogurt. Make sure the yogurt you use is unsweetened; you may use full-fat Greek yogurt.

Protein Powder: To increase your protein intake, add unflavored, flavored but unsweetened collagen or whey protein powder.

Nut Butter: Although the frozen strawberries and avocado in this  keto diet smoothies recipe make it rather thick enough, nut butters such as peanut butter, almond butter, or any other type of nut butter are excellent for thickening and adding healthy fats. You might need to use extra milk and sweetener if you add nut butter.

Should you not be using vanilla almond milk already, vanilla extract is a great addition.

How to Prepare a Keto Drink

To help you envision the process, this section provides step-by-step photographs and information on how to make a  keto diet smoothies with avocado and strawberries. See the recipe card below for complete instructions, including amounts and temperatures.

How to prepare keto strawberry smoothie
  • First fill a high-powered blender with all the ingredients.
  • Blend the mixture until it’s smooth. Stir and mix again if your blender becomes stuck. (If your blender isn’t strong enough, you can also thin it out with more milk)
  • According to your needs and taste, adjust the sweetness.
  • Add a garnish. Fresh strawberries and occasionally sugar-free whipped cream are my favorite garnishes.

Guidelines for Storage

You can freeze this Keto Strawberry Smoothie for later, but be advised that because the strawberries won’t be frozen, the avocado may become a little thinner and darker. To lessen the browning impact, you might want to add a little lemon or lime juice, but you could also make it fresh instead of going through the trouble.

Store any leftovers from your keto diet smoothies in an airtight container (preferably filled all the way to the top to avoid browning and oxidation) or a zip-lock bag that has the air forced out. Close tightly and keep chilled for a maximum of two to three days.

Freeze: Transfer leftovers into an ice cube tray, zip-lock bag, or freezer-safe container. Up to two months, freeze.

Savor: Blend the  keto diet smoothies briefly to combine it again if it appears to have separated after freezing or storing.
