One of his most popular videos, which has received over a million likes, features the audio from the comedic show I Think You Should Leave, in which the star of a competition akin to Bachelorette informs one competitor she feels he’s “only here for the zip line.”

Some of the praises given by TikTok users include “the greatest story to come out of the Olympic Village,” “the only Olympic Village love story that matters,” and “the highlight of their day.”

Many people are worried about Christiansen’s chances of success upon his return to Norway; some have even demanded that a muffin manufacturer sponsor him.

Stephen Nedoroscik, a well-known American pommel horse expert, is among his admirers. He said to people on Tuesday, “There’s that chocolate filling in the middle.”

Athlete Gabby Thomas from the United States also taste-tested a muffin for her own TikTok on Tuesday.
